I have spent most of the last few weeks working on QTP libraries, but very little of that time was spent wrestling with Mercury's beast of an IDE.
Aside from actually running my tests, I use QuickTest for very little these days. Instead, I am using a new editor called Test Design Studio. Everybody who
uses QuickTest Pro's expert view should try Test Design Studio. Once you do, you won't go back to QTP.

I don't usually do this, but every once I a while, there comes a product which not only dramatically improves my work and productivity, but is also extremely cool.
Test Design Studio (TDS) is exactly that, and it deserves your full attention. I've been working extensively with TDS for the past week, and I thought I write a quick review and tell you about it.

QTP [QuickTest Pro] IDE lacks many features and is no where near to being called a professional IDE for automation programmers. TDS [Test Design Studio] helps bridge this gap and improve productivity of automation engineers.
