The Options dialog is displayed by selecting Tools -> Options from the main menu. Then select Environment -> Fonts and Colors from the tree on the left.
The Fonts and Colors option group is used to control the appearance of various elements in the application. The most common use for this option group is to manage syntax highlighting for the various text-based editors. Not only can you control how comments, strings, numbers, keywords, and other language elements are displayed, you can also set the appearance of items like line numbers, current line highlighting, and content dividers.
|Show settings for||This drop-down list allows you to select the group whose settings you want to modify. There is a special group called "[All Text Editors]" that is used to control elements common to all supported text editors. Make changes here if you want to see consistent syntax highlighting between all languages (i.e. comments will look the same in VBScript or JScript). To make changes to a specific editor, you should select that editor group in the list. Some editors have settings that will not be displayed in the "[All Text Editors]" group.|
