Version 2.5 (Build 211) - August 6, 2004:

  • 'F2' key now renames the selected Object or Window.
  • 'Del' key now deletes the selected Object, Window, or Attribute.
  • 'Ins' key now adds a Window, Object, or Attribute if a corresponding item is selected.
  • You can now disable the delete confirmation dialog window. See 'General Options' window for 'General Options > Confirm Item Delete' setting.
  • Fixed focus and default button problems with the 'Add Attribute' window.
  • Improved Docking Capabilities. See 'General Options' window for 'General Options > Docking Pane Settings'.
  • Other minor application tweaks.

Version 2.5 (Build 205) - June 28, 2004:

  • Implemented new Clipboard History pane that will keep a history of all Windows, Objects, and Attributes that have been cut or copied. You can then easily paste one or more of those items back into the GUI map.
  • In the Window/Object tree, you can now cut & copy the selected Window or Object by using the 'Ctrl+X' & 'Ctrl+C' shortcut keys and paste the last item placed on the clipboard using 'Ctrl+V'.
  • In the Attributes property grid, you can now cut & copy the selected Attribute by using the 'Ctrl+X' & 'Ctrl+C' shortcut keys and paste the last attribute placed on the clipboard using 'Ctrl+V'.
  • Improved support for the context menu key on newer keyboards.
  • Added status messages to splash screen.
  • Other minor application tweaks.

Version 2.5 (Build 203) - April 28, 2004:

  • Fixed bug preventing the opening of GUI Map files that contained objects with no 'class' attribute

Version 2.5 (Build 202) - April 14, 2004:

  • Added Commands 'Move to Previous GUI Map Window' and 'Move to Next GUI Map Window'. Shortcuts for these commands make keyboard navigation easier.
  • Updated Vendor Controls used for Toolbars, Docking Panes, and Properties Grid. Should provide more stable performance and resolve minor issues in those controls.
  • Minor bug fixes

  • Updated 'View Toolbars' menu to accurately show custom toolbars
  • Fixed bug in 'General Options' that caused properties to be incorrectly set when first opened

  • Major User Interface Enhancements!
  • New customizeable toolbars and menu system with multiple themes
  • New MDI interface for managing multiple GUI map files instead of "views" approach introduced in 2.0 (Build 114).
  • Docking Panes are now used for the various components of the application to allow the user to customize the layout of the application
  • Minor bug fixes.

Version 2.0 (Build 115) - December 10, 2003:

  • Mousewheel support added to the Attributes grid control.
  • Added on option to toggle if the Windows/Objects tree is sorted. Not sorting the tree will dramatically improve performance for windows containing 100's of objects. Available from the 'Options' menu.
  • Minor bug fixes.

Version 2.0 (Build 114) - October 30, 2003:

  • Major Program Updates and Enhancements.
  • Application now supports the ability to open multiple files at the same time.
  • Three views are available to display the GUI Map files.
  • Improved icons used throughout the application.
  • Can now Cut/Copy/Paste any Window/Object/Attribute.
  • New 'Find' functionality to quickly locate items in the GUI Map.
  • Ability to create a new, blank GUI Map file.
  • New Toolbar available for most tasks.
  • Application now draws using XP Themes when executed in Windows XP.

Version 1.0 (Build 113) - September 4, 2003:

  • Removed the 'Ctrl-X' shortcut key that was mistakenly placed on the 'File -> Exit' menu option due to conflicts with the 'Cut to Clipboard' function.
  • Updated "Patterson-Consulting.net" web references to reflect the redesigned site.

Verison 1.0 (Build 112) - July 13, 2003:

  • Fixed a bug corrupting GUI Map files created using the Rapid Test Script Wizard
  • Fixed a bug where the 'Copy as Multi-line' button would copy the physical description as a single line instead
  • Updated the method used to store comments for windows and objects. Comments are now stored using the 'comment' attribute in the physical description. This attribute will be hidden within our GUI Map Editor as all comments are viewed/modified in the 'Comments' area. The 'comment' attribute, however, will be viewable as part of the standard physical description in WinRunner's GUI Map Editor.

Verison 1.0 (Build 111) - May 30, 2003:

  • Improved the user interface to include hotkeys and correct tab order
  • Fixed a bug causing the 'Average Attributes per Object' property for a window to be displayed incorrectly in the 'File Information' dialog
  • Updated the method used to modify attribute information so that it is more stable
  • 'Check for Updates' feature will now download files directly without the need to login to the support site

Verison 1.0 (Build 110) - March 31, 2003:

  • Incorporated an Enhancement Request to provide details about class information in the 'File Information' dialog window (accessed from the 'File' menu). This window now includes a more detailed breakdown of information about the GUI Map and the ability to save that information to a text file.
  • Updated the Splash Screen

Verison 1.0 (Build 109) - February 26, 2003:

  • Updated some of the controls to provide better performance and to be compatibile with other software from Patterson Consulting.

Version 1.0 (Build 108) - December 31, 2002:

  • Modified the program to work as the internal file viewer/editor for the Version Control program
  • Added the option to hide/show the comments section of the screen
  • Fixed a bug where the 'Save' option was not properly enabled immediately after making changes to a file

  • Updated the web-based content of the software to work with our new website
  • Fixed a bug where resizing the window could potentially hide some controls

Version 1.0 (Build 106) - October 18, 2002:

  • Fixed a problem causing a GUI Map file to be corrupted if a window or object did not have any attributes (Bug Submission by Leonid Reznik)

Version 1.0 (Build 105) - October 14, 2002:

  • Added a feature to display general statistics about a GUI Map including the total number of windows and objects
  • Fixed a conflict with Russian-language Windows that prevented the application from running (Bug Submission by Mike Davydov and Brad Clarke)
